Statement by the Malta Police Union

The Malta Police Union urgently appeals to all eligible persons to donate blood in support of our colleagues who were seriously injured in the line of duty during today’s operation in San Ġwann.

There is an especially urgent need for O negative (O−) blood donors; however, donations of all blood groups are greatly appreciated and may help save lives.
Blood donations can be made at the National Blood Transfusion Centre, St Luke’s Square, G’Mangia.

We thank the public for their solidarity and support during this difficult time.
